In this memorable graduation season, the Institute for Financial and Accounting Studies prepared exquisite souvenirs as well as a warm and indelible dinner for graduate of 2017 in Dafeng restaurant on May 24.
Presided by Dengyunzhe and Steffen Dewes from Germany,Dean,Ye Jianming ,Vice dean,Hu Jinshuai and the representatives of teachers and students have attended the dinner.
First,Dean Ye, representing all the teachers and students of IFAS, expressed his sincere blessings and expectations to all graduates. In his speech, he hoped that the all graduates could be good at using the knowledge and spiritual wealth learnt in Xiamen University in the future and create their own bright future by the spirit of constantly striving for perfection.
Then Professor Li expressed her heartfelt wishes to the graduates and gave them some final suggestions and expectations.She hoped that they will never stop studying, work hard and be honest in their future work and study.
Then,valedictorian of Wu Fan and international students Aftab gave speeches and expressed gratitude for the alma mater, mentors and classmates, as well as the firm determination to pursue their dreams.
With the deep blessing of the host, the dinner party officially began at 7pm. All students and teachers gathered happily together, and toasted to each other to commemorate this unforgettable moment.
During the dinner, the international students presented songs and improvised dances from all over the world. They won the applause from the students on the spot, pushing the activity atmosphere to climax.
Last, all graduates chorused the song "friends" to express their bond to their alma mates, teachers, classmates.
Graduation is an enduring old song, the missing for IFAS lingers in the minds of every graduates. Graduation is not an end, but a new journey. We wish every graduates to continue writing a magnificent chapter in their lifes, our dear Xiamen University will always be your most warm harbor!
