Another group of ambitious graduates will leave their dear Alma Mater, Xiamen University, in June 2019. Three years of hard work and dedication have enabled them to accumulate enough knowledge and experiences for another new beginning. On the occasion of graduation, the 2018 batch, represented by three students: Deng Yunzhe, Wang Mingming and Li Guosheng were invited to share their experiences with other students and friends.
On May 23, 2019, the Institute for Financial and Accounting Studies (IFAS) held a tea party for the graduates. The purpose for the party was to provide a platform for these graduating students to share their experiences on job hunting, plans for life and also provide answers to some questions by Grade one and two students. At 6:00 p.m., the batch of 2018 students were already at the venue to put the place in order with lots of drinks and food.
The meeting officially began at 7 p.m. and was presided over by Yang Xiaoshan, a Grade 18 student, to introduce the special guests of honor, who were Deng Yunzhe of Huawei Finance and Economics department, Wang Mingming of ICBC Finance, Science and Technology Post and Li Guosheng of Shen Wan Hong Yuan.

A comprehensive and detailed account of their graduation and job-hunting experiences were given by these graduating students while the other students listened carefully and asked questions accordingly. Gifts and graduation well-wishes were presented by the current students to these graduating students. Finally, a group photograph was taken to officially end the meeting.
After the exchange meeting, the students of Grade 17 and 18 said they gained a lot from outstanding graduates and had a clearer plan for the postgraduate study and a deeper understanding of job hunting. We wish this kind of inheritance and exchange meeting will continue to remain in IFAS.
