Jinshuai Hu is a Professor of Accounting and Associate Dean at the Institute for Financial & Accounting Studies, Xiamen University. He currently serves as Guest Editors at Journal of Risk and Financial Management and Pacific Accounting Review, and editorial board members at Contemporary Accounting Review, Financial Management Research, Modern Economy and Management, as well as Global Studies on Economics and Finance. He got his master's degree from Xiamen University and Ph.D. from Hong Kong Baptist University. His research interests include the role of accounting information in China’s and global capital markets, financial reporting and disclosure, corporate governance, and social media. He has taught courses for undergraduate, master’s, MBA, and Ph.D. students, including Financial Accounting, Financial Statement Analysis, and Contemporary Accounting Issues.

厦门大学财务管理与会计研究院教授副院长、教授、博士生导师，入选财政部国际化高端会计人才和福建省会计人才库，任《当代会计评论》(CSSCI集刊)和《财务管理研究》编委会委员、国际期刊Journal of Risk and Financial Management客座主编，获福建省社会科学优秀成果一等奖。厦门大学会计学硕士，香港浸会大学会计学博士，加州大学尔湾分校高级访问学者。主讲课程有财务报表分析、财务会计、管理会计、公司治理、当代会计研究专题等本、硕、博、MBA课程，研究领域包括中国与国际资本市场会计研究、财务报告、信息披露、社交媒体、公司治理等。
