近日，厦门大学财务管理与会计研究院副院长、会计学教授胡金帅，与麦考瑞大学（Macquarie University）Haiyan Jiang副教授、厦门大学管理学院吴益兵副教授一起合作完成的学术论文在国际知名学术期刊Emerging Markets Review在线发表，论文题目：How does privatization affect cash dividends? Quasi-experimental evidence from China。
Emerging Markets Review被SSCI收录为JCR一区，2022年度期刊影响因子为4.8。
Against the backdrop of privatization experienced by Chinese state-owned enterprises (SOEs) in recent years, this study investigates how privatized firms change cash dividend payments. Using a difference-in-differences (DiD) research design, we find an increase in cash dividends following privatization. Additional analyses reveal two channels underlying the increase in dividend payouts – that is, reduced insider tunnelling and agency problems associated with cash holding, and improved information environment after privatization. Our findings enrich the literature on privatization by providing new insights into the underlying mechanisms explaining the increased cash dividends from the agency theory and information environment perspectives.
胡金帅，厦门大学财务管理与会计研究院副院长、教授、博士生导师，入选财政部国际化高端会计人才和福建省会计人才库，任国际期刊Journal of Risk and Financial Management客座主编，和《当代会计评论》(CSSCI集刊)、《财务管理研究》、Modern Economy & Management、Global Studies on Economics & Finance编委会委员，获福建省社会科学优秀成果一等奖（2021）、厦门市“双一流”高校建设奖（2023）、厦门大学葛家澍科研奖（厦门大学人文社科最高级别科研奖，2023）、厦门大学科研业绩突出奖（2022）、最佳博士生论文奖（2010）、香港会计师公会研究生奖学金（2008）。厦门大学会计学硕士，香港浸会大学会计学博士，加州大学尔湾分校高级访问学者。主讲课程有财务报表分析、管理者的财务思维、财务会计、管理会计、公司治理、当代会计研究专题等本、硕、博、MBA和EDP课程，研究领域包括中国与国际资本市场会计研究、财务报告、信息披露、社交媒体、公司治理等。主持2项国家级课题、1项省社科重点课题、1项省自科课题、1项省社科青年项目、1项企业横向课题，子项目负责人参与1项国家自科重大课题、参与2项国家社科重大课题。
