On May 21, 2026, the Student Union of IFAS held the 2026 Graduate Career Sharing Session. Two outstanding graduates were invited to share their stories and offer guidance to younger students.
Hosted by Zhang Ruobing, the event featured Zhou Shiqi and Zhou Xi as guest speakers. Drawing from their own recruitment experiences, the two graduates introduced different career paths and shared practical advice on job applications, interview preparation, and career planning, helping students better understand the current employment landscape and clarify their career directions.
Zhou Shiqi first shared her experiences applying for positions in state-owned enterprises and central state-owned enterprises. She walked students through her recruitment timeline, covering everything from internship completion and resume revision to application submissions and assessment preparation. She emphasized the importance of preparing early. Her tips included refining resumes well in advance, building an online application database, and creating a "personal story collection" to prepare for interviews. In addition, she shared useful strategies for aptitude tests, essay writing, group discussions, and structured interviews.
